Asparagus with Peas Dressing
Peas are a funny little vegetable that are a hit amongst the kids. Serve this delicious side dish with rice or meat.
Ingrediënten
- 1 Cup Trimmed Asparagus Spears
- 1 Thin Prosciutto Slice
- 1 Cup Green Peas
- ⅓ Cup Chicken Broth
- 1 Teaspoon Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Chopped Mint
Instructies
- Bake asparagus in a pre-heated oven at 425 degrees for about 10 minutes.
- While it is baking, heat butter in a skillet and slightly brown the peas.
- Add in the chicken broth and mint.
- Allow to simmer.
- Remove asparagus from the oven and bake the prosciutto slice.
- When the chicken broth mixture has thickened, remove it from heat.
- Place the asparagus on the slice, top with the mixture and wrap.
- Serve immediately.
