Baked Egg Custard

Ingrediënten

  • 6 eggs
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 quart milk

Instructies

  • Beat eggs, then stir in sugar, salt, and vanilla.
  • Scald milk and gradually add it to the egg mixture.
  • Stir until it is thoroughly blended.
  • Pour into custard cups or a baking pan.
  • Set in a pan of hot water that is a height equal to the level of the custard.
  • Bake at 325° for 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center of the custard comes out clean.
