Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon finely chopped
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- ¼ cup water
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon cornstarch optional, for thickening

Instructions
- Cook the chopped bacon in a medium saucepan over medium heat until crispy.
- Remove the bacon pieces and set aside, leaving the bacon drippings in the pan.
- Reduce the heat to low and add red wine vinegar, water, honey, and Dijon mustard.
- Whisk until combined.
