Ingredients
For the Meatloaf:
- 500 g ground beef
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 120 ml milk
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp dried parsley
For the Glaze:
- 120 ml ketchup
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, garlic, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, and parsley.
- Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and shape it into a loaf.
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
- Bake for 45 minutes, then spread the remaining glaze on top.
- Bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
