  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 120 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried parsley

For the Glaze:

  • 120 ml ketchup
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, garlic, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, and parsley.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and shape it into a loaf.
  • In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, then spread the remaining glaze on top.
  • Bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
