Butterscotch Cookies
Ingrediënten
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup shortening or lard
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 cup nuts
Instructies
- Mix all ingredients but the nuts thoroughly in a mixer.
- Stir the nuts in by hand.
- Roll the dough into ropes about 2 inches thick.
- Cut in thin slices.
- Crosspress with a fork to make a design.
- Bake at 350° for 8–12 minutes.
