- ½ cup Jim Beam bourbon whiskey
- 2 tablespoons white wine
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, powdered ginger, dried minced onion, bourbon whiskey, and white wine to make the marinade.
- Place the chicken pieces in the bowl, ensuring they are fully coated with the marinade.
- Cover and refrigerate, stirring occasionally, for several hours or overnight for the best flavor.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Arrange the marinated chicken pieces in a single layer in a baking dish.
- Reserve the marinade for later use.
- Bake the chicken for 1 hour, basting with the reserved marinade every 10 minutes to keep the chicken moist and flavorful.
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the baking dish.
- Scrape the pan juices, including all the browned bits, into a frying pan.
- Heat the pan over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of white wine.
