Cheese Muffins

Ingrediënten

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¾ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg beaten
  • ¼ cup ½ stick butter, melted

Instructies

  • Preheat the oven to 425°.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the cheese and stir to mix.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  • Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour the liquid mixture all at once into the well.
  • Stir just until moistened.
  • Do not overmix.
  • Fill greased muffin cups ⅔ full and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
  • Remove the muffins from the pan and cool on a wire rack.
