Chicken and Grits
A classic Southern dish, grits pair well with a variety of main dishes such as shrimp, pork, and sausage. Grits taste delicious here mixed with chopped cooked chicken.

- Makes 4 to 6 servings / Prep: 10 min. Cook: 15 min., Bake: 30 min.
- 2 14-ounce cans chicken broth
- 1 cup uncooked quick-cooking grits
- 1 8-ounce jar process cheese spread
- 3 large eggs lightly beaten
- 2 cups chopped cooked chicken
- ½ teaspoon poultry seasoning
Instructies
- Bring broth to a boil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat; stir in grits.
- Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes; stir occasionally.
- Add cheese and remaining ingredients, stirring well.
- Pour into a greased 11- x 7-inch baking dish.
- Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 30 minutes.
