Chopped Steakhouse Salad
Although the plain walnuts lend an excellent crunch to this salad, try adding Candied Walnuts for an extra boost of flavour.

- 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
- ¾ tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- ¾ tablespoon sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 340 gram strip steak
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 small head iceberg lettuce cut into thin strips
- 1 ½ tablespoons chopped walnuts
- ¼ cup blue cheese crumbled
- 4 medium cherry tomatoes halved
- ¼ cup fresh blueberries
Instructies
- Whisk together olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sour cream and Dijon mustard in a small bowl.
- Refrigerate covered until ready to use.
- Preheat air fryer at 200°C for 3 minutes.
- Season steak with salt and pepper.
- Place in air fryer basket lightly greased with olive oil.
- Cook for 5 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 4 minutes or until cooked to your liking.
- Transfer steak to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Transfer lettuce to a large serving bowl and toss with dressing, then transfer to two medium bowls.
- Thinly slice steak and add to salads.
- Garnish with walnuts, blue cheese crumbles, tomatoes and blueberries.
- Serve.
