Christmas Breakfast Casserole

  • Italian sausages bulk 1 pound
  • Onion chopped 1 cup
  • Divided chopped and drained red roasted pepper 1 jar (7 ounces) Thawed, chopped frozen spinach 1 package (10 ounces)
  • All-purpose flour 1 cup
  • Parmesan cheese ¼ cup grated
  • Dried basil 1 teaspoon
  • Salt ½ teaspoon
  • Eggs 8 large
  • Whole milk 2 cups
  • Provolone shredded cheese 1 cup
  • Sprigs fresh rosemary optional

Instructies

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  • Take a skillet, cook the onion and sausages on medium heat until it changes its color, then drain it.
  • Convert it into the greased 3 qt.
  • baking dish.
  • Sprinkle it with half of the red pepper and spinach.
  • Take a bowl, add and combine the flour, salt, basil, and parmesan cheese.
  • Add and combine the milk and egg and properly mix it with the dry ingredients.
  • Pour it on the spinach.
  • Bake it until the inserted knife comes clean, for just 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Sprinkle it with the rest of the red pepper and provolone cheese.
  • Bake it for 2 minutes more until the cheese gets melted.
  • Let it wait for 5 minutes more before the cutting.
  • Garnish it with rosemary if you want and enjoy.
