Ingrediënten
- 2 lbs chicken wings separated into drumettes and wingettes
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour or gluten-free blend
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup butter melted
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
Instructies
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Add chicken wings to the flour mixture and toss to coat.
- Arrange wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- While wings are baking, whisk together honey, melted butter, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and ginger in a small bowl.
- Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a clean bowl.
- Pour the honey-cinnamon glaze over the wings and toss to coat thoroughly.
- Serve immediately.

Serve with celery and carrot sticks and a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing. For extra crispiness, place cooked wings on a wire rack while tossing with the sauce.
