Citrus-Infused Carne Asada Fiesta
Ingrediënten
- ¼ cup lime juice
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 4 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 medium onion chopped
- ½ cup tequila
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 pounds flank steak
- 1 dozen corn tortillas
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup guacamole
Instructies
- In a bowl, mix lime juice, lemon juice, orange juice, crushed garlic, chopped onion, tequila, Tabasco sauce, and black pepper.
- Add the flank steak to the marinade, turning to coat.
- Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 6 hours (or overnight if possible), turning occasionally.
- Wrap corn tortillas in aluminum foil and place on the grill.
- Remove the meat from the marinade, reserving the marinade.
- Grill the steak for 12 to 18 minutes, turning and basting halfway through.
- Turn the tortillas occasionally on the grill.
- Remove the meat from the grill and cut it into thin slices.
- Serve the steak slices on tortillas, garnished with salsa and guacamole.
