Ingrediënten

  • 2 x 6 ½ oz cans clams
  • ¼ lb salt pork or ¼ lb bacon
  • 1 onion – chopped
  • 3-4 potatoes – pared & cubed
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 1 ¾ tsp salt
  • tsp pepper
  • 2 cups half & half Or 2 cups milk
  • 1 ½-2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructies

  • Sauté pork/bacon and onion until golden brown;
  • Drain excess fat
  • Place clams in crock pot with pork/bacon along with all other ingredients except milk/half & half
  • Cook on high for 3-4 hours Or low for 7-8 hours
  • Add 1 cup milk/half & half and cornstarch one hour before serving
  • Add remaining milk/half & half just serving
