Crockpot Meat Loaf
Classic meatloaf made easy in the crockpot. Tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. A family favorite!
Equipment
- Slow cooker, Mixing bowl, Measuring cups, Spatula
Ingrediënten
- 2 lbs Ground beef
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs or gluten-free/Paleo alternatives
- ½ cup Milk or dairy-free alternative
- 2 Eggs
- ¼ cup Ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1 tsp Dried basil
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black pepper
- ¼ cup Ketchup for topping
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar for topping
- 1 tsp Mustard for topping
Instructies
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, 1/4 cup ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well with your hands until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, combine the remaining 1/4 cup ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard.
- Spread the ketchup mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours, or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
- Slice and serve hot.
