Curried Chicken Panini
It is a very dripping and saucy panini recipe. However, chopping the chicken makes it a better filling ingredient, and you can go further by introducing mayonnaise as a topping to make it more delicious.
Ingrediënten
- 2 cups cubed and cooked chicken breast
- ¼ cup finely chopped celery
- ¼ cup fat-free mayonnaise
- ¾ tsp curry powder
- ¼ tsp fresh and finely grated lemon zest
- 8 slices freshly baked whole wheat bread
- ⅓ cup mango chutney
- 1 cup watercress
- 2 tbsp softened unsalted butter
Instructies
- Mix the chicken, celery, mayonnaise, lemon zest, and curry powder in a bowl.
- Cook the mixture.
- Spread 4 slices of bread with chutney.
- Lay ½ cup of the salad and ¼ cup of the watercress.
- Cover the ingredients with the remaining bread, then spread butter on the outer parts of the sandwich.
- In a panini maker, cook the sandwich for 4 minutes.
- Ensure the bread turns golden brown before removing it from the panini maker.
- Serve and enjoy.
