Deconstructed Stuffed Pepper Skillet
Ingrediënten
- 1 green pepper top removed
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 ½ cups cooked rice
- 8- oz. can tomato sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructies
- Bring a saucepan of salted water to a boil.
- Add the green pepper and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until tender.
- Drain, cool slightly, and chop the pepper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion, stirring often, until the beef is browned, and the onion is translucent.
- Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped green pepper and cooked rice to the skillet.
- Pour the tomato sauce over the beef mixture, stir, and heat through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the Deconstructed Stuffed Pepper Skillet.
