Flank Steak
Try this Asian-inspired steak with sautéed mushrooms. You can either grill it outdoors or broil it indoors.
Ingrediënten
Makes 6 servings
- ¼ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1 cup lite soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger or ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 1-pound flank steaks
Prep: 10 min., Chill: 8 hrs., Grill: 20 min.
Instructies
- Combine first 6 ingredients in a large zip-top freezer bag, and add steak.
- Seal and chill at least 8 hours, turning bag occasionally.
- Remove steaks from marinade, discarding marinade.
- Grill, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat (350° to 400°) 10 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness.
- Cut steaks diagonally across the grain into thin strips.
Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:
To broil steaks, place on a lightly greased rack in a broiler pan. Broil 5½ inches from heat 10 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness.
