Fred’s Barbecue Sauce

Ingrediënten

  • 1½ cups ketchup
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup red wine vinegar
  • ⅓ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon each minced ginger black pepper, dry mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano leaves, dried basil leaves, and crushed red pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon allspice

Instructies

  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and stir well.
  • Bring it to boil and simmer in low heat for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
