Fried Potatoes
Ingrediënten
- 6 medium-sized potatoes
- 3 Tbsp. lard butter, or margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 2 eggs beaten
Instructies
- Cook potatoes until soft.
- Cool and skin.
- Melt shortening.
- Slice potatoes and slide into skillet.
- Pour beaten eggs over and season.
- Let potatoes brown until crispy edges form.
- Then turn over with metal spatula, allowing other edges to brown.
Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:
Variation:
Use only 4 or 5 potatoes. Begin by toasting 2 buttered slices of bread, torn in bite-sized pieces, in hot skillet. Then add potatoes and continue as above.
