Garden Chicken Panini
The recipe gets its decent taste from the combination of giardiniera pickles and chicken. If you know of the giardiniera pickle, then you will understand it is Italian. It adds to the sandwich’s sour taste making it unique from other panini recipes.
Ingrediënten
- 2 packs 12 oz. each refrigerated breaded chicken breast
- ¼ cup softened unsalted butter
- 8 slices freshly baked Italian bread
- ¼ cup tomato puree
- ¼ cup giardiniera
- 8 slices part-skim mozzarella cheese
Instructies
- Prepare the chicken tenders according to the instructions on its package.
- Take the slices of bread, then butter aside on each.
- Transfer 4 of the slices to a panini grill.
- Add a tablespoon of the puree, three chicken pieces, giardiniera, and cheese to the slices.
- Cover the ingredients with the remaining slices of bread.
- Cook the sandwich on both sides until the bread turns golden brown.
