Goulash with Round Steak
Serve this goulash with hot pasta or egg noodles. You can add some allspice in the meat.
Ingrediënten
- Round steak: 2 pounds 1-inch cubes
- Chopped onion: 1 cup
- Powdered black pepper: ½ teaspoon
- Diced tomatoes: 14.5 ounces
- Bay leaf: 1
- All-purpose flour: 2 tablespoons
- Sour cream: 1 cup
- Paprika: 1 ½ teaspoons
- Elbow macaroni: 7 cups
- Garlic salt: 1 teaspoon
Instructies
- Combine onion and steak in the slow cooker.
- Mix black pepper, garlic salt, paprika and flour in one bowl.
- Pour it over onion and steak.
- Mix all ingredients to coat meat with flour blend.
- Add bay leaf and tomatoes.
- Cover slow cooker and cook for almost 8 – 10 hours on the low setting to tender steak.
- Discard bay leaves and mix sour cream in beef mixture.
- Switch cooker to high and cook for almost 15 minutes.
