- 4 cooked bacon strips crumbled
- 8 slices Texas toast
- 8 thin slices cheddar cheese
- 1 thinly sliced and halved onion
- 1 cup baby Portobello mushrooms sliced
- 3 tablespoons butter divided and softened
Instructies
- In a large nonstick skillet, coat it with cooking spray, add 1 tablespoon of butter, and heat it over medium-high flame.
- Add onions and mushrooms to the skillet, cook and stir for 5 minutes or until softened.
- Remove the mixture from the pan and set it aside.
- Clean the pan properly.
- On four slices of Texas toast, place one slice of cheddar cheese on each.

- Spread softened butter on all sides of the bread.
- In the same skillet, heat the sandwiches one by one over medium flame for 60 seconds or until the bread turns golden brown, and the cheese has melted.
