Guava Glaze Sauce

- Nonreactive saucepan
Ingrediënten
- 1 tablespoon Tomato Paste
- ¼ cup Red Wine Vinegar
- ¼ cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Diced Spanish Onion
- ¼ cup Garlic Cloves smashed after measuring
- 2 cups Water
- 1 tablespoon Dark Chili Powder
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice
- 8 ounces Guava Paste cut up
- ½ teaspoon Kosher Salt
Instructies
- Combine all the ingredients in a nonreactive saucepan.
- Place over medium heat and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, until the onion and garlic soften.
- Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Be cautious of hot liquid splattering.
- Use immediately or allow to cool to room temperature before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 weeks.
