Ingrediënten

  • 6 slices of bacon halved
  • 1 package 16 oz. maple sausage
  • 1 cup hash browns
  • 3 eggs
  • 8-9 oz. medium Cheddar cheese sliced
  • 6 slices sourdough bread
  • Butter or butter spread

Instructies

  • Form the sausage into three large patties.
  • Cook them in a skillet over medium heat, flipping after about 8-10 minutes.
  • Cook for the same amount of time on the other side.
  • Cool on paper towels to absorb excess grease.
  • Cook bacon in the same skillet, flipping after 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Cook the hash browns in a lightly oiled or buttered skillet.
  • Add pepper if desired.
  • Cook each egg separately, puncturing the yolk to ensure even cooking.
  • Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  • On half of the slices, layer 1-2 oz.
  • of cheese, one sausage patty, four halved bacon slices, one egg, 1/3 of the hash browns, then the rest of the cheese followed by the accompanying bread.
  • Cook the assembled sandwiches at 325°F for four minutes per side.
  • A melting dome is highly recommended to ensure thorough melting and heating throughout.
