Hearty Breakfast Tower
Ingrediënten
- 6 slices of bacon halved
- 1 package 16 oz. maple sausage
- 1 cup hash browns
- 3 eggs
- 8-9 oz. medium Cheddar cheese sliced
- 6 slices sourdough bread
- Butter or butter spread
Instructies
- Form the sausage into three large patties.
- Cook them in a skillet over medium heat, flipping after about 8-10 minutes.
- Cook for the same amount of time on the other side.
- Cool on paper towels to absorb excess grease.
- Cook bacon in the same skillet, flipping after 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Cook the hash browns in a lightly oiled or buttered skillet.
- Add pepper if desired.
- Cook each egg separately, puncturing the yolk to ensure even cooking.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- On half of the slices, layer 1-2 oz.
- of cheese, one sausage patty, four halved bacon slices, one egg, 1/3 of the hash browns, then the rest of the cheese followed by the accompanying bread.
- Cook the assembled sandwiches at 325°F for four minutes per side.
- A melting dome is highly recommended to ensure thorough melting and heating throughout.
