Ingrediënten

  • 1 cup uncooked wild rice washed
  • 1 10.75 oz. can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can use soup can water
  • 1 1.5 oz. package dry onion soup mix
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Instructies

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the uncooked wild rice, cream of celery soup, water, and dry onion soup mix.
  • Stir well to combine.
  • Spray a 13x9x2-inch casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Spread the rice mixture evenly in the bottom of the prepared casserole dish.
  • Arrange the chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture in the casserole dish.
  • Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
  • After 1 hour, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
  • Once done, remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve the Wild Rice Chicken Casserole hot, spooning some of the flavorful sauce over each portion.
