Ingrediënten

  • Prepare the avocados: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  • Mash the avocados: Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocados to your desired consistency.
  • Some people like it chunky, while others prefer it smoother.
  • Add the diced onion and tomatoes: Mix in the finely diced onion and tomatoes.
  • Adjust the quantities based on your taste preferences.
  • Add garlic: Add the minced garlic to the mixture.
  • If you’re a garlic fan, you can add more.
  • Squeeze in lime juice: Squeeze the juice of one lime into the mixture.
  • Lime not only adds flavor but also helps prevent the avocados from browning.
  • Season with salt and pepper: Season the guacamole with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Start with a small amount and adjust as needed.
  • Optional additions: If you like some heat, add finely diced jalapeño.
  • You can also include chopped cilantro for added freshness.
  • Mix well: Gently mix all the ingredients until well combined.
  • Taste and adjust: Taste the guacamole and adjust the lime, salt, or any other seasonings to suit your preference.
  • Serve: Serve the guacamole immediately with tortilla chips, tacos, nachos, or your favorite dishes.
