  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ½ cup Jack Daniel’s whiskey or other bourbon
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • Salt to taste

Instructies

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  • Whisk until well combined.
  • Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  • Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, or until sauce has thickened slightly.
  • Stir occasionally.
  • Season with salt to taste.
  • Let cool before using or storing.
