Juicy Pork Meatballs

Eat these meatballs right out of the air fryer, tossed in some warmed no-sugar-added napolitana sauce or over a bed of steamed greens. The onion, yoghurt and cheese add a moistness that plays so nicely with the natural, juicy fattiness of ground pork. The almond flour and egg also help bind these meatballs together — you’ll never miss the carb-filled bread crumbs!

Ingrediënten

  • 450 grams pork mince
  • 1 large egg
  • ¾ tablespoon plain Greek yoghurt
  • ¼ cup peeled and grated brown onion
  • ¼ cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ½ tablespoons almond flour
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructies

  • Preheat air fryer at 180°C for 3 minutes.
  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Form into 16 meatballs.
  • Add eight meatballs to air fryer basket lightly greased with olive oil and cook for 6 minutes.
  • Flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Transfer cooked meatballs to a large serving plate.
  • Repeat cooking with remaining meatballs.
  • Serve warm.
