Kielbasa Soup
My mom made up this recipe one eveningwhen there wasn’t a lot to eat in the house. It has since become a favoritecomfort food!
Equipment
- stockpot
Ingrediënten
- 1 head cabbage shredded
- 16- oz. pkg. Kielbasa sausage sliced
- 2 16- oz. cans diced tomatoes
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 zucchini quartered and sliced
- 2 yellow squash quartered and sliced
- 2 T. seasoned salt
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 cube beef bouillon
- 1 t. dried oregano
- 2 redskin or russet potatoes cubed
Instructies
- In a stockpot, combine all ingredients except potatoes.
- Cover ingredients with water; bring to a boil.
- Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
- Add potatoes during last 30 minutes of cook time.
