Lamb Panini Burger
The spices in this recipe compliment the lamb, thus resulting in great favor. The lamb releases fat and juices as the panini cooks, making the bread crispy and nice.
Ingrediënten
- 2 ½ lbs. shoulder lamb ground
- 1 finely chopped medium onion
- ¾ cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 1 tbsp coriander ground
- ¾ tsp cumin ground
- ½ tsp cinnamon ground
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 ½ tsp black pepper ground
- ¼ cup olive oil plus extra for grilling
- 8 thick medium pita bread with pockets
Instructies
- Mix the parsley, coriander, cumin, cinnamon, black pepper, oil, salt, onion and lamb using a fork.
- Let the meat rest while covered for about one hour.
- Fill the pitas with the meat mixture.
- Cook the sandwiches on medium heat for about 10 minutes as you flip them halfway.
- Ensure the lamb gets to cook through, and the bread becomes crunchy.
