Louisiana Sausage Sandwiches

After working the county fair one yearwith a friend, I learned how to make these sandwiches like a pro!

Equipment

Ingrediënten

  • 19.76- oz. pkg. Italian pork sausage links
  • 1 green pepper sliced into bite-size pieces
  • 1 onion sliced into bite-size pieces
  • 8- oz. can tomato sauce
  • t. pepper
  • 6 hoagie rolls split

Instructies

  • In a large skillet, brown sausage links over medium heat.
  • Cut into 1/2-inch slices; place in a slow cooker.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients except rolls.
  • Cover and cook on low setting for 8 hours.
  • Spoon
  • into rolls with a slotted spoon.
