Maple, Bacon And Cream Cheese Frosting

Makes 3 cups, to frost 12 cupcakes
- 1 package 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 2 cups powdered sugar sifted
- ¼ cup chopped toasted pecans
- ¼ cup cooked and crumbled bacon about 3 slices
Instructies
- In an electric mixer beat the cream cheese and butter on medium speed until smooth and evenly combined.
- Add the maple syrup.
- With mixer on low, gradually add the powdered sugar until the frosting is thick and spreadable.
- Fold in the toasted pecans and bacon bits.
