Sweet & Savory Maple Sage Sausages
A perfect balance of sweet maple syrup, warm spices, and savory pork, these homemade sausages are free from preservatives and bursting with flavor.

- 340 g mild pork sausage removed from casings
- 1 ½ tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp rubbed sage
- ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- ¾ tbsp water
Instructies
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the pork sausage, sage, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Form the mixture into eight sausage links.
- Pour the water into the bottom of the air fryer to prevent smoking.
- Place the sausages in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 9 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
- Transfer to a plate and serve warm.
