Memphis−Style Barbecued Ribs
Tender, dry-rubbed ribs with a smoky Memphis flavor. A barbecue classic!
Equipment
- Large bowl, Aluminum foil, Smoker or grill, Meat thermometer
Ingrediënten
- Brown sugar 1/4 cup
- Garlic powder 2 tbsp
- Mustard powder 1 tbsp
- Paprika 2 tbsp
- Pork ribs 4 lbs
- Salt 1 tbsp
- Smoked paprika 1 tbsp
- White pepper 1 tbsp
Instructies
- Combine brown sugar, paprika, smoked paprika, garlic powder, mustard powder, white pepper, and salt in a large bowl.
- Rub the spice mixture thoroughly onto the pork ribs.
- Prepare your smoker or grill to a temperature of 225°F (107°C).
- Place the ribs in the smoker or grill, bone-side down.
- Smoke the ribs for 3-4 hours, or until tender and the internal temperature reaches 190°F (88°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
