Mushroom and Serrano Ham Salad
Ingrediënten
- ½ cup Mustard Vinaigrette Dressing
- ½ pound mushrooms rinsed, trimmed, and sliced
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- ¼ cup very thinly sliced Serrano ham or prosciutto
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
Instructies
Prepare the Dressing:
- Prepare the Mustard Vinaigrette Dressing (El Aliño) if not already made.
- Set aside.
Marinate the Mushrooms:
- Place the sliced mushrooms in a medium bowl and sprinkle them with lemon juice.
- Toss gently to coat the mushrooms with the lemon juice.
Combine Ingredients:
- Fold the thinly sliced Serrano ham (or prosciutto) into the bowl with the marinated mushrooms.
Add Dressing and Parsley:
- Pour the Mustard Vinaigrette Dressing over the mushrooms and ham.
- Add the finely chopped parsley.
Mix and Chill:
- Gently toss all the ingredients together until well combined.
- Refrigerate the salad until ready to serve, but no more than 1 hour to prevent discoloration of the mushrooms.
Serve:
- Transfer the Mushroom and Serrano Ham Salad to a serving dish and serve chilled.
