Peach Salsa

Ingrediënten

  • 6 cups peeled chopped peaches
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • cups chopped onion
  • 4 jalapeño peppers chopped*
  • 1 red bell pepper chopped
  • ½ cup finely chopped cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic finely chopped
  • teaspoons cumin
  • ½ –1 teaspoon cayenne pepper to taste

Instructies

  • Place chopped peaches into bowl with vinegar to prevent browning.
  • Add remaining ingredients.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • Boil gently until thickened, approximately 10–15 minutes.
  • Ladle into clean jars.
  • Process for 15 minutes in boiling-water bath.

Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:

*Wear rubber gloves when chopping hot peppers to avoid skin irritation.
