Peachy Brie Delight

Ingrediënten

  • 1 large peach
  • ½ tablespoon butter
  • 2-3 oz. Brie cheese
  • 4 slices Hawaiian sweet bread
  • Butter or butter spread

Instructies

  • Blanch the peach in boiling water for a few seconds, then rinse it in cold water.
  • Remove the skin and pit, then slice the peach into about 8-12 slices.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Sauté the peach slices for about 5 minutes, or until softened.
  • Alternatively, you can use the peach slices raw, based on preference.
  • Butter one side of all the slices of Hawaiian sweet bread.
  • On two slices of bread, stack the sliced Brie cheese or spread it evenly.
  • Add the sautéed or raw peach slices on top of the Brie.
  • Top with the remaining cheese and the other slice of bread, creating sandwiches.
  • Cook the sandwiches at 325°F for four minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Once cooked, slice the sandwiches diagonally and serve warm.
