Ingrediënten
- 1 cup vinegar
- 8 cups peeled chopped pears
- 3 red bell peppers chopped
- 3 green bell peppers chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 teaspoons ground mustard
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- ½ –1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
Instructies
- Combine vinegar and chopped pears to prevent browning.
- Combine pears and vinegar with remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Boil gently until thickened, approximately 10–15 minutes.
- Ladle into clean jars.
- Process for 20 minutes in boiling-water bath.
