Pear Yogurt Gelatin Salad
Ingrediënten
- 1 16 oz. can pear halves in juice
- 1 3 oz. package lime gelatin (Jello)
- 1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
- 1 8 oz. carton lemon yogurt
- 1 8 oz. can pineapple tidbits, drained
Instructies
- Drain the juice from the canned pears into a small saucepan.
- Place the pear halves on a cutting board and chop them into small pieces.
- Set aside.
- Bring the pear juice to a boil over medium-high heat in the saucepan.
- Remove from heat and add the lime gelatin.
- Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
- Set aside to cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and lemon yogurt.
- Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the cooled gelatin mixture to the cream cheese and yogurt mixture, beating until well mixed.
- Stir in the chopped pears and drained pineapple tidbits until evenly distributed.
- Pour the mixture into a mold or casserole dish.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Once set, remove from the mold or casserole dish and serve chilled.
