Ingrediënten

  • 1 16 oz. can pear halves in juice
  • 1 3 oz. package lime gelatin (Jello)
  • 1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 8 oz. carton lemon yogurt
  • 1 8 oz. can pineapple tidbits, drained

Instructies

  • Drain the juice from the canned pears into a small saucepan.
  • Place the pear halves on a cutting board and chop them into small pieces.
  • Set aside.
  • Bring the pear juice to a boil over medium-high heat in the saucepan.
  • Remove from heat and add the lime gelatin.
  • Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  • Set aside to cool slightly.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and lemon yogurt.
  • Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • Gradually add the cooled gelatin mixture to the cream cheese and yogurt mixture, beating until well mixed.
  • Stir in the chopped pears and drained pineapple tidbits until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the mixture into a mold or casserole dish.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  • Once set, remove from the mold or casserole dish and serve chilled.
