Vinegar With Chilies
This is one of the most popular table condiments in Thailand, only second to Fish Sauce with Chilies. A few drops of the vinegar with chilies are perfect for a little pop of acid and heat.

Ingrediënten

MAKES: 1 CUP (240 ML)

  • 1 cup 240 ml white vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 3 fresh serrano chilies sliced ⅛ inch (3 mm) thick
  • 1 –2 cloves garlic minced

Instructies

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the vinegar, sugar and salt until the salt and sugar have completely dissolved.
  • Stir the chilies and garlic into the vinegar and let it infuse for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:

Keep it refrigerated until ready to use, up to 2 weeks.
