Pumpkin Bread from Georgia Varozza

This bread is good plain, toasted with butter, or spread with cream cheese.

Ingrediënten

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 2 cups canned pumpkin or 1 can if using store-bought canned pumpkin
  • cups flour
  • cup water
  • tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. each cinnamon allspice, nutmeg

Instructies

  • Mix together the sugar, oil, and eggs.
  • Add pumpkin and stir to mix.
  • Add the dry ingredients and the water and stir just until mixed.
  • Pour batter into two greased and floured loaf pans and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
