Pumpkin Bread from Georgia Varozza
This bread is good plain, toasted with butter, or spread with cream cheese.
Ingrediënten
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 4 eggs beaten
- 2 cups canned pumpkin or 1 can if using store-bought canned pumpkin
- 3½ cups flour
- ⅔ cup water
- 1½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. each cinnamon allspice, nutmeg
Instructies
- Mix together the sugar, oil, and eggs.
- Add pumpkin and stir to mix.
- Add the dry ingredients and the water and stir just until mixed.
- Pour batter into two greased and floured loaf pans and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
