Quick and Crispy Pork Fritters
Ingrediënten
- 1 lb. pork tenderloin sliced 1/2-inch thick
- 1 egg beaten
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 sleeve saltine crackers finely crushed
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructies
- Use a meat mallet to flatten the pork slices; set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine the beaten egg and milk, blending well.
- In a separate bowl, combine the finely crushed saltine crackers, all-purpose flour, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each pork slice into the egg mixture, ensuring it is well-coated, then press it into the crumb mixture until evenly coated.
- Heat about 1/2 inch of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the coated pork slices to the hot oil and fry until they are deep golden on both sides and are no longer pink in the middle, turning as needed.
- Remove the fritters from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
