Quick Goulash with Cheese
Serve it with bread or rice for dinner or even lunch.
Ingrediënten
- Raw elbow macaroni: 8 ounces
- Sugar: 1 tablespoon
- Paprika: 1 tablespoon
- Ground beef: 1 pound
- Dried oregano: 1 teaspoon
- Diced onion: 1 cup
- Caraway seed: ¼ teaspoon
- Sliced celery: 1 cup
- Cayenne pepper: 1 pinch
- Minced garlic: 1 tablespoon
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Diced tomatoes: 14.5 ounces
- Tomato sauce: 10 sauces
Instructies
- Boil lightly salted water in one large pot and cook macaroni in the simmering water.
- Stir occasionally and cook for approximately 8 minutes to al dente.
- Drain macaroni and keep it aside.
- Crumble ground beef in a casserole (2-quart) dish.
- Add garlic, celery, and onion.
- Cook in the microwave for 5 – 6 minutes on high to make it brown.
- Mix once while cooking and drain off extra grease.
- Mix the sugar, tomato sauce and tomatoes in the beef and season with salt, cayenne pepper, caraway seed, oregano, and paprika.
- Cook in microwave on 8 power level for almost 14 minutes to blend all flavors and tender celery.
- Take it out from microwave and stir in cooked macaroni.
- Cook for 3 minutes and serve hot.
