Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients
1¾ CUPS
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- ½ cup heavy cream
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 6 ounces Parmesan cheese freshly grated (about 2 cups)
Instructions
- In a straight-sided large skillet over medium-high heat, combine the butter and cream and cook until the butter melts.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the Parmesan and stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce comes together.
- Toss with your desired pasta to combine.
- Make sure to reserve some of the pasta cooking water to thin out the sauce and keep it smooth and creamy.
