Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

1¾ CUPS

  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 6 ounces Parmesan cheese freshly grated (about 2 cups)

Instructions

  • In a straight-sided large skillet over medium-high heat, combine the butter and cream and cook until the butter melts.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the Parmesan and stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce comes together.
  • Toss with your desired pasta to combine.
  • Make sure to reserve some of the pasta cooking water to thin out the sauce and keep it smooth and creamy.
