Apple Bread
Ingredients
- ½ cup 1 stick butter, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 T. baking soda
- ½ tsp. salt
- ⅓ cup sour milk or ⅓ cup sour cream
- 1 cup chopped apples
- ⅓ cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add the eggs and vanilla and beat well.
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk to the butter mixture; blend well after each addition.
- Stir in the apples and walnuts.
- Pour the batter in a greased loaf pan and bake for 55 minutes or until done.
