Apricot Orange Conserve

Ingredients

  • 4 cups pitted peeled, chopped apricots
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • cups orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 cups sugar
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans.

Instructions

  • In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients except nuts.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring often, and boil hard for 15–20 minutes, or until thickened.
  • Add nuts and boil for 5 minutes more.
  • Ladle into clean jars and process for 10 minutes in boiling-water bath.
