Asian-inspired Maple Glazed Steak Marinade

Ingredients

  • ½ cup soy sauce gluten-free if needed
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 green onion chopped
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup or maple sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose Greek seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt or kosher salt

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped green onion, maple syrup or sugar, Greek seasoning, onion powder, and salt.
  • Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Place steaks in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag.
  • Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Cover the dish or seal the bag, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
  • When ready to cook, remove the steaks from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.
  • Grill the steaks to your desired level of doneness.
