Bacon, Asparagus, and Mayo Panini

Do you have guests and have no idea of what to prepare for them to eat? These delicious Panini will make the visitors happy and yearning for more. They are great for lunch since they combine herbs and asparagus lining on the bacon and mayonnaise.

Ingredients

  • 12 bacon slices
  • ¼ lb. halved asparagus
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • A pinch of salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 8 ciabatta slices
  • ½ cup garlic mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat your panini maker.
  • On a skillet, fry the bacon until they become crisp.
  • Remove, then drain the bacon on a paper towel.
  • In a bowl, mix the asparagus, pepper, salt, and olive oil.
  • Set the mixture aside.
  • Apply the mayonnaise on a slice of bread, then top it with 3 slices of bacon, line some asparagus in a layer.
  • Apply more mayonnaise at the top, then sprinkle a little parsley on the ingredients.
  • Cover with the remaining bread slice.
  • Repeat the procedure with the remaining ingredients.
  • Cook the sandwich until they turn golden brown.
