Banana Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 3-4 ripe bananas peeled, sliced, and frozen
- ½ to ¾ cup fruit juice or nut milk such as almond milk or coconut milk

Instructions
Prepare Bananas:
- Peel ripe bananas and slice them into coins.
- Place the banana slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze for several hours or overnight until solid.
Blend Frozen Bananas:
- In a high-speed blender or food processor, add the frozen banana slices.
- Start by adding 1/2 cup of fruit juice or nut milk of your choice.
Blend Until Smooth:
- Begin blending the frozen bananas on low speed.
- Gradually increase the speed to medium-high, using a tamper if needed to push the bananas towards the blades.
- Blend until the mixture becomes creamy and smooth.
- If necessary, add more liquid, a little at a time, to achieve the desired consistency.
- Serve Immediately or Store:
- Once the banana ice cream reaches a smooth consistency, it is ready to serve.
- Enjoy it immediately as a soft-serve treat, or transfer it to a freezer-safe container and freeze for an additional 30 minutes to firm up slightly for a more traditional ice cream texture.
